English grammar has two main divisions;

1:The part of speech.

2:The Sentence and its sorts or types.

 


1:The part of speech :

All words in the English language may be divided into 8 main groups or parts of his speech which are as follows;

1.Noun

2.pronouns

3.Adjectives

4.Verbs

5.Adverbs

6.Preposition

7.Conjunction

8.Interjection

 



2:The Sentence :

Now we look add briefly the second major division of english grammar is the Sentence.

A Sentence Is a group of words join together to express a complete tthought.

At least sentence is made up of two main parts Which are as follows; 

1.The subject

2.The predicate


Sorts or types Of Sentences :


1:The subject :

The subject is the piece of the sentence that lets who or know the sentence about.

for instance ;

God is love in this sentence God is the subject he is the individual being talked about.


2:The predicate :

The predicate is the piece of the sentence that determines what the subject is or does. The predicate generally incorporates an action word.

 for instance ;

God is love in this sentence is love is the predicate that is why is God said.

 The individual was eager and required cash.

 The kid understood that he had been exceptionally stupid.

"Kid" is the predicate.


Sorts of sentences :

Sentences are separated into four classes as per the manner in which they offer a viewpoint.

1:Declarative

2:Interrogative

3:Imperative

4:Exclamatory


1:Declarative Sentence :

A revelatory sentence says something about something and end with a period .

For instance ;

a.The father felt frustrated about his child.

b.A man had two children.

c.Give me my piece of the multitude of things we own.

This solicitation is a definitive sentence.


2:An Interrogative Sentence:

A grilled sentence posed an inquiry a finishes with an inquiry mark(?).

For instance ;

a.what does this mean?

b.what are you doing ?


3:An Imperative Sentence :

a basic sentence makes a solicitation or provides an order ,and finishes with a period or interjection point (!).

For instance ;

a.Hurry ! Bring our best calf and kill it so we can celebrate.

In Imperative Sentence "you" is Understood. (you) bring our best calf.


4:An Exclamatory Sentence :

An exclamatory Sentence expresses something with power and feeling a finishes with an interjection point(!).

For instance ;

"My child was dead, yet presently he is alive once more!"
